Isodaburn Editorial Standards: How We Check Supplement Claims

Isodaburn editorial standards are the written rules for every page about SodaBurn. The label wins over sales copy. Each health claim must trace to a linked FDA, NIH, CDC or journal source. We promise no weight result, show no invented review, and keep the medical reviewer slot marked until a real person signs it.

  • 1 rule firstthe label wins over sales copy
  • 43 sourceslisted, 42 public and 1 seller page
  • 0 inventedreviews, scores or doctors
  • 4 checksfrom a medical reviewer

The short version

What are the Isodaburn editorial standards?

The Isodaburn editorial standards are six rules we apply to every page about SodaBurn. They exist because a seller's site has a reason to oversell, and we want you to see the limits we set.

  1. The label wins

If sales copy and the bottle disagree, we follow the bottle. The panel lists 22 lines, though some copy names six ingredients.

  2. Every health claim has a source

We link FDA, NIH, CDC, NIDDK, FTC and journal pages, and we cite only what each one says.

  3. Studies stay with their ingredient

A result belongs to the ingredient, the dose and the people studied. It never belongs to the bottle.

  4. No promised results

No weight amount, no time to results and no claim that the drops act on fat, appetite or metabolism.

  5. No invented proof

No made-up reviews, scores, awards, doctors, labs or certificates.

  6. Say what is unknown

Where we found no readable source, we write that we found none.

The sections below show each rule in action. If you only want who we are, read the about page.

Sources

How does Isodaburn check supplement claims?

We check a supplement claim by finding the source, reading it and matching its words, dose and people to our sentence. A claim that fails any step is cut or reworded.

We prefer government health bodies and peer-reviewed reviews. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements is our first stop for ingredient facts (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements). For rules on what a label may say, we use FDA and the FTC (FTC, Health Products Guidance).

One source is the seller's own sales page. We cite it only for what the seller says, never as proof. Where it conflicts with the label, we show both.

Source typeHow we use itLimit
FDA, NIH, CDC, NIDDKRules, facts and cautionsGeneral, not about this bottle
Cochrane and journal reviewsWhat trials of one ingredient foundDose and group differ from the blend
FTC guidanceWhat ads and reviews must show (FTC, Endorsement Guides Q&A)Legal guidance, not a finding
Seller sales pageWhat the seller saysNever used as proof

Claims

Which claims will you never make about SodaBurn?

We never say that SodaBurn or any ingredient can treat a disease, shrink fat, end cravings or give a set weight result. No study of SodaBurn supports any of those.

We do quote the label claims, inside quotation marks, and then answer each with evidence. Seller claims we do not publish are also shown in quotes, so you can see what we refuse and why.

  1. Front of the label“Supports Daily Fat Metabolism†”The dagger leads to the FDA statement: not evaluated, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold. We found no study of this blend, and NIH says little is known about whether weight loss supplements work. (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements) (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements)
  2. Front of the label“Helps Control Cravings & Appetite†”Single ingredients in the blend have been studied for appetite: capsaicinoids reduced appetite in some trials, and guarana is promoted for it. Reviews call the results small or mixed, and none tested this blend or its amounts. (Whiting 2012, Capsaicinoids review) (MSK, Guarana)
  3. Front of the label“Promotes Clean Energy & Focus†”The blend names two caffeine sources, guarana and green tea. The label does not print the caffeine. 'Clean' is not a measured term. FDA lists fast heartbeat, jitters and insomnia among caffeine's warning signs. (FDA, How much caffeine is too much) (NCCIH, Green tea)
  4. Seller's page“Accelerate fat burning as fuel”No source we found tests SodaBurn for this. A review of 54 trials found insufficient evidence to recommend any herbal medicine for weight loss, and the best single-ingredient results were small. (Maunder 2020, Herbal medicines for weight loss) (NIH ODS, Weight loss supplements)
  5. Seller's page“100% natural support” and “no harmful artificial stimulants”Natural does not always mean safe. Guarana and green tea extract contain caffeine, a stimulant that occurs in plants, and green tea extract has been linked to liver injury in rare cases. (NIH ODS, What You Need to Know) (NCCIH, Green tea)
  6. Seller's page“Ketogenic-friendly” and “Low-carb friendly”The label panel in our material shows no carbohydrate line and no ketone ingredient. Whether a liquid fits a diet plan depends on your whole day of eating, which a supplement does not set. (CDC, Steps for losing weight)
  7. Seller's page“Does SodaBurn really help with weight loss?”The honest answer is that no study tested SodaBurn. CDC advice for weight loss is built on eating, activity, sleep and stress, at about 1 to 2 pounds a week, and its page does not mention supplements. (CDC, Steps for losing weight) (NIDDK, Safe weight-loss programs)
  8. Seller's page“FDA Registered”The label does not print it. A facility being registered is not FDA approval of a product, and FDA does not approve supplements before sale. (FDA, Q&A on Dietary Supplements)

Claims as printed on the brand panels. Health claims in ads need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Guidance).

The seller's page also uses badges such as "FDA Registered" and "Doctor formulated". They are not on the label, so we do not use them.

Reviews and testimonials

How does Isodaburn handle customer reviews?

Isodaburn shows no customer review until the order desk matches it to a real order and the buyer agrees to its use. Today the site shows none, no star score and no count.

The FTC says a seller may not write or buy fake reviews, or use insider reviews without telling you (FTC, Reviews Rule Q&A). Its endorsement guides also say material connections must be shown (FTC, Endorsement Guides Q&A). We follow both ideas.

  • Sample scores and sample names that came with the brief are not used
  • Review photo slots stay marked until a buyer agrees
  • We never filter out bad reviews once real ones arrive
  • We never pay for or trade for a review

Medical review

What does medical review mean here?

Medical review here means a qualified person reads a page and confirms that its health statements match its sources. It is not an endorsement of SodaBurn.

The reviewer slot on each page shows a name, credentials, a role and a review date. All four are fill-ins today, because no reviewer is confirmed. We do not print a physician's name early, and we do not write "doctor reviewed" before then.

Sources match

Each sentence says what its source says, no more.

Cautions complete

Medicines, pregnancy, caffeine, liver and blood sugar are covered.

No promises

No page promises weight, appetite or energy results.

A reviewer's sign-off does not change the main fact: no study of SodaBurn exists. See who reviews these pages.

Money

Does making money change what Isodaburn writes?

Isodaburn earns money from order links, so it has a stake in a sale. We try to offset that with the rules above, and you should still read our pages with that stake in mind.

Concretely, the money link does three things. It places order buttons on pages. It lets us show the seller's prices. It does not let us hide a gap in the evidence. If a rule and a sale conflict, the rule wins. The affiliate disclosure holds the plain statement.

We also show prices only as the seller states them. We do not show a struck price, a "you save" line, a countdown or a stock warning, since each would press you to buy before you read.

Corrections

How do I report an error to Isodaburn?

Email the website inbox with the page name and the line, and we will check it against the source. The inbox answers Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET and cannot see orders.

When a check shows a mistake, we correct the text and update the date at the foot of the page. When a price, shipping line or guarantee term changes at the checkout, we follow the checkout. A new study can also change a page.

FAQ

SodaBurn questions people ask

Who writes the pages on this site?

Pages are signed "Written by the SodaBurn label desk", the editorial group of Isodaburn. No individual is named as a medical author. The reviewer slot is a fill-in until a qualified person is confirmed.

Does Isodaburn test SodaBurn in a lab?

No. We have not tested the product, and we found no published lab report. The lot references we list are seller references, not lab proof. Our pages work from the label text and public sources.

Why do you cite a seller page at all?

We cite it only for what the seller says, so you can see the gap between sales copy and the label. It is never used as proof of a health claim. Source 43 is the only seller source we list.

How often are the pages updated?

The pages show their last update date, October 30, 2026 at this writing. We update when a source, a price or a label detail changes. The live checkout is final for price and guarantee terms.

Do you remove negative information to help sales?

No. Gaps in the evidence stay on the page, including that no study of SodaBurn exists and that the blend amounts are not printed. A missing fact is more useful to you than a smooth page.

Are your pages medical advice?

No. They are information, written for adults 18 and older. They cannot account for your health or medicines. Ask your doctor or pharmacist, and keep taking prescribed medicine.
